At SeaClear, it is our mission to provide accurate, up-to-date information about the coastal water quality around Cape Town. Whether you're a resident, a tourist, or an environmental enthusiast, our goal is to keep you informed about the safety and cleanliness of our beautiful beaches.

What We Do

We assess coastal water quality based on data supplied by the City of Cape Town. The key indicator we use to determine the safety of coastal water is the concentration of enterococci bacteria in the water at a given beach.
